So, Cobra in London. It was badass. Nothing bad to say about it. VICKY-T IS A GODDESS ♥__♥ (There were some other guys on stage too, I think, and they were all good--especially delighted with Gabe, very good showman, you have to give him that--but with the TOTAL INSANE AWSOME THAT IS VICKY-T on stage, they kind of faded into the background.) Her VOICE, and the LITTLE SMILES, and her HAIR, and HOW COOL AN INSTRUMENT IS THE KEYTAR? and just... GUH!!! I love her. She is the hottest, cutest thing on a stage since forever and I'm not even going to pretend not to be a total fangirl about it. :D



leonorejblack posted this reclist of gay films for Valentine's Day, and I just saw "Shelter", which is a completely lovely movie about surfing and trying to figure out what you want in life and accidentally falling in love with your best friend's older brother. It is SO GOOD, you guys. Me, fannyt and intricate_life were talking about how much we all wanted to see just a run-of-the-mill romantic comedy with two male leads. Just a pretty lovestory without it being a ~statement. And this film is EXACTLY what I wanted with that. It just makes me happy. More things like this one forever and ever, amen.

Shelter is one of my favorite movies and definitely one of the best LBGT ones because of it's simplistic feel. It's not trying to make a statement, it's just a beautiful movie and gives me hearteyes every single time.

Couldn't agree more. I'm such a sucker for love that just is, especially when it springs up between people who already know each other. And I love the Zach-Cody storyline. I usually don't like kid storylines, but this one is so genuine and sweet that I just want to hug them. And Zach's sister breaks my heart.

Man, I was just thinking about that yesterday. How I wanted a film with a male/male romance going on that wasn't so blatantly trying to make a ~statement. That entire reclist you posted is pretty much made of win, too, so, uh, thanks. I now know how today will be wasted. I was kind of floundering about there for a moment. :)
