redorchidsStill a few weeks until Christmas! Still plenty of time to drop a wish or get inspired by one at the Crazy Elf Christmas Wish Exchange! As stated in the thread, this is open for anyone who'd like to join and completely deadline and obligation-free (Goal is to have all gifts done by Christmas, but I got a gift from this exchange on January 6th this year. And one last week. lol. Still totally awesome. So, you know, drop a note or a teaser if you know you're going to be late and don't worry about it. :D)
I'll recap all wishes made in the original post here for easy reading. (And will keep updating the list for at least a week or so, if anyone wants to throw in some last minute wishes, so please keep checking in. <3) So check it out.
Wishes!!! (in order of appearance)
1) Ryan/Brendon. Xmas fic. They've mutually resented each other since the split (and before), and they've chosen respectful, but hostile silence (big musical differences that feel personal). But, you know, Ryan never has anywhere to go on Christmas and Brendon's family is overbearing and too religious, so they call truce and Ryan comes to Brendon's house for Christmas, followed by awkwardness because how can they pretend it's the good old times when they're not really friends anymore? Then they drink some and they talk and there's nostalgia and understanding and hugs and little sighs and video games and raw turkey, and then sincere, "I still love you, man"s. A fic more focused on the friendship than their supposed relationship (though if you want to take the romance road, then that's fine). A fic that is sweet and gives the boys some closure, but no saccharine getting-back-togethers. Honest and heartfelt! Hopeful!
2) Pete makes Patrick dress up like Santa Clause for the FBR christmas party (which makes patrick all >:O but he does it anyway) and Brendon dresses up like Mrs Clause and sings Santa Baby while giving Patrick a lapdance. Pete is a reindeer and he convinces Ryan and Jon to come as elves. Spencer refuses to dress up, but he does let Jon force an ugly christmas sweater on him. costumes for the rest of FBR are up to you, as long as Bronx is in a snowman outfit.
3) Brendon (any period) makes a Christmas wish along the lines of "I wish people would like me more". When he wakes up, everyone's in love with him. Including [insert character here], who Brendon might have a crush on (or who he's absolutely and hopelessly in love with, you pick :)).
4) Teen!OT3
5) Sexuality reversal! One of the boys (who is gay) wakes up in a universe where EVERYONE is suddenly gay. Except, well, him.
6) Cuddles by the Christmas tree. Any panic pairng.
7) Brendon/Ryan.
They're both are in LAX airport (Brendon is going to Vegas to see his family - Ryan promised to meet Alex in New York, who went there on a whim) but Oh noes! For the first time in a long time? forever? it's SNOWING IN LA!Their flights are delayed and they're stuck in the airport (taxis aren't driving, no one will pick up their phone to come get them, and Ryan - who parked in short term parking again because he's stupid - has lost his keys.)
Cue playing many bored games of cards and not talking about anything worthwhile because it's not like they'd talk about their feelings. Oh, and there should be ipod sharings. Because Ryan's is out of batteries, and sharing headphones is precious. Ends with love and something horribly cliche, like Ryan changing his flight after the airways get cleared to meet Brendon in Vegas. Or something.
8) There're a big fire in LA, and Ryan's house burns down and he is now homeless. Even if things have been a little weird between them since the slip, he moves in with Brendon and Spencer. They re-connect and according to redorchids this is suppose to turn into a very porny OT3. I would be very happy with any pairing really.
9) GSF were they've all been angry at each other all day, cramped up on the bus and solves it with awesome sex. PWP is good on this one ;)
10) One of my absolute biggest weaknesses is the entire ryan-basically-living-with-brendon-in-his-shitty-apartment-during-angsty-teenage-times. ryan/brendon, obv, but ryan tops. this will be my biggest picky point. ryan always has to top in my world.
11) Anything domestic with ryan and brendon. oh my god, i love it when they're pretty much just married and comfortable with each other and just. guhhh boys *____*
12) absolutely anything with christmas involved with ryan and brendon. hopefully, you are now noticing a tinhat pattern. oh my god, and ryan gets brendon a kitten (or the other way around; also, it can be a puppy) AND THEN THERE IS CUDDLING AND NAMING THE SMALL ANIMAL AND BEING ADORABLE. PRETTY DESCRIPTIONS AND BOYCUDDLINGS AND SOFT KISSES AND MAYBE LIKE. IDK CANDY CANES AND HOT CHOCOLATE, IDKIDK. PORN IS NOT EVEN REQUIRED (THOUGH IT IS OH SO APPRECIATED).
13) bb!bden living on his own in his shitty apartment (canon basically), but he's not in a band with the guys cause he hasn't met them yet. it's christmas time and he's feeling very lonely and then... one day on his way home from work he runs into homeless!spencer & ryan (how and what exactly happens, completely up to you). he meets them a couple of more times in the next few days and then ends up inviting them to his place for christmas even though he can't really afford it. i don't need to point out that i want this to be ot3 do i? (or, if you don't feel like you can write it ot3, you can make it brendon/ryan +bff spencer (with possibly some bonus jon? so spencer isn't left out? lol))
14) The world needs more Rywalk snuggles, in whatever form they come in. =P
15) Fuck canon, I honestly just want some fluffy Ryden under-the-Christmas-tree snuggles. With maybe bonus!Spencer thrown in there somewhere.
16) ... Or, I could totally deal with bb!Brendon all alone in his tiny little apartment on Christmas eve, moping, and nobody's answering their phone, and his family is lame and then Ryan shows up! With one of those crappy plastic miniature trees in strange colors, and they have Deep Conversation that isn't actually that deep, and then there's snuggling and falling asleep in each other's arms. (Or possibly crazy sex. I would not object to that either.)
17) Spencer/Brendon where they are hitmen on opposite sides of some dispute or other, but who are sort of friends, occasionally running into one another on the job (trying to beat each other to the same target, or something) and who hang out outside of work for casual drinks and the like (they don't really have any friends or family). Then, one winter they're assigned to kill each other, but run away together, instead.
18) Preferably Spencer/Brendon or GSF, but whatever is fine by me. Brendon and Spencer (or all four of them, or whatever), both have some secret that they're terrified to tell the other (one's a wizard, one's a werewolf, one's an alien, one's a time traveller, or, you know, more creative secrets are fun, too) and through some wacky holiday/family hijinks, things are revealed.
19) Panic/TYV. They're in some foreign country for a musical festival with a bunch of different bands, and weather conditions make it impossible for anyone to fly out. Brendon and Spencer invite Jon and Ryan to stay in their much nicer hotel. They decide to exchange gifts, but they're all sneaky about it--maybe some of them make gifts out of what's around, or go down to the hotel store, because the weather is so dreadful they can't actually go out in it. And they make dorky decorations and Spencer bribes room service into making festive dishes, or something. Can be just friendship, but I'm a sucker for GSF. Particularly if it fixes things between them. Not, you know, makes them one band again, but makes them all *one* again, even if they're in different bands.
20) I would love a large ensemble piece, some kind of awesome Decaydance Christmas party with mistletoe kisses and spiked punches and shenanigans! Ryan and Jon (and the Like, if possible) are surprise party-crashers. So, yes. Any variation of the above would be muchly appreciated; I'm pretty easy. ♥
21) Dallon's wife very kindly let us all know that her husband has a kink for getting spanked. It makes me want spanking fic with Brendon and Dallon under the Christmas tree, bonus points if Breezy's there and calling the shots(but if that feels too creepy it's fine without it). :D?
