Apparently, my favourite Panic pairings are now actual words. It's true! I read it on the Internet. (And I can't even begin to think about how many nerd points that entails. Probably about a million seeing how loudly they make my inner fangirl giggle and squee. :-))

Question, though, guys: what do they actually mean?

I mean, am I even using them correctly? (very important that--what would the world look like if we just let words run loose and started using them out of their traditional context for which they were made at the dawn of time? seriously?)

So, help me out here and let me know if I'm on the right track:

RYDEN (v, tr.) = to love something so much you want to throw it on a bed, attack its neck with wet kisses (preferably in front of an audience) and declare your undying devotion with intricate metaphors and/or grand gestures?

JONCER (adj) = made out of pure awesomeness, sunshine, puppies and everything good. Smells like Christmas and smiles so bright it will make you die (or at least swoon) blissfully on a regular basis?

Cookies in question being these:

(I know, right? Totally, totally joncer cookies! Or not, let me know. :-))

Now I want to use these words like that, too!

And those cookies really are joncer. (:

Aren't they? [livejournal.com profile] xoarianne_ilyxo found them. I died a bit from sheer love. I want them. Now. (which is pretty much the same reaction as I get from joncer fic, so, hey, should be a fitting description. :-D)

Haha, yes. :) But I have to admit I like the Rydon one better. :)

Maybe you could switch them too? Make ryden an adjective and joncer a verb?
Would completely change the meaning, I think.

JONCER (v. intr., joncer about) = to chill out, being generally awesome and sunny?

OR

JONCER (v. tr.) = To smoke up with a gorgeous someone curled up in your lap (involves lots of kissing)?

Hmm. and ryden as an adjective? How about:

RYDEN (adj) = pining and hot of epic proportions, made out of concentrated UST and fairy dust in equal measures with an icing of True Love, meant to be and pink sprinkles?

Idk.. I liked the first meaning of Rydon. That's kind of what I think of when I say the word anyways. :)

But the second Joncer verb is just to perfect to let go of, srsly. :)

Yeah, I like that one too. :-)
We should do more of these, it's fun.

What about Peterick?

Oh, and:

GABILLIAM (n) = the best kind of dirty old bar, where you go with your friends to just have an awesome time with no strings attached.

Haha, it really is. :)

A Peterick ~ Lazy Saturday with breakfast in bed.

That has to be the best description of a Gabilliam ever. :)

OICU COOKIES THAT I FOUND!
;D
Nice def. bb. They rly work. Hahaha. I'd go with Joncer cookies *nods* because we all know of Spencer Smith and his shoe obsessions. He'd be all over those!

I know! They are perfect. Someone should make cookies like this for Spencer's birthday. :-) (Not that Zack would let him eat them, but still...)

Not after the whole hair incident he wouldn't. xD Omg, poor Brendon. I can't imagine that happening to me. I'd quite possibly die..

Haven't heard about it and am guessing that I don't want to. Yucky things in cookies. Urgh.

Cookies should be nice things!

LOL! I don't see why your Gabilliam definition couldn't co-exist with mine. I mean, what you need most after a really shitty day is drinks at the fun and dirty old bar, no? :-D

Thanks, I'll check them out. :-)

I've never actually read a Gabilliam story yet. I've been keeping myself proposefully away from them, because I have a suspicion that I will love it and I really need to finish my long choose-your-own fic. :-)

(speaking of which, you still up for betaing? do you have yahoo messenger? if so, we could do it over that? me = redorchid10)

I'm pretty sure msn is compatible with yahoo messenger. Try adding me and starting a convo and we'll see. :-)
