Hi, everyone!
Back from the honeymoon, happy and tanned. Europe is always lots of fun and a lot of the places we went to were first time visits for me (Ryan’s been practically everywhere by now, but on the other hand, he usually hasn’t seen much of the places he’s been to, so we had fun exploring together.). Top three cities this trip: London (because there’s nothing you can’t do in London), Stockholm (so beautiful) and Barcelona (the coolest place in the world).
Met up with Spencer and Haley in Rome and spent a week in Sicily. Totally gorgeous. Also got to see Shane for a couple of days, and Brendon, who’s crashing at his place for the summer and working the Barcelona clubbing scene. :-)
Some pics I managed to take with the new camera Jon gave us for the wedding:

Barcelona!

Mr and Mrs Smith (still so much fun to call them that :-)) at Fontana di Trevi in Rome
Off to work! (Celine Dion show at Ceasar’s, can you believe it? :-D)

ROCKSTAR LOVE
Rockstar Brendon Urie of five-time platinum band Panic at the Disco seems to be finally off the market. At last night’s opening of Luke Wenderman’s Dr Faustus on the NewYork stage, he was seen with an arm curled easily around dancer Danny Tidwell—more commonly known in performance circles as “the rockgod of ballet.” Tidwell and Urie amiably posed for pictures together with Urie’s long-time friend Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz before disappearing from the scene, heading for Wentz’s downtown club Angels & Kings.

plan for decaydance world dominance: right on track
all my awesome friends are having babies lately. a few more and we will begin phase two of the ultimate decaydance world-domination scheme. big hugs to jwalk and cassie for cutie mollie sue and high fives to the rest of the band for rising to the challenge. it’s all working out perfectly: mini-ryro and mini-spencer will charm the socks off everyone so that bronx can take the throne with the help of the ever-growing army of mcr and cobra kids. newbaby wentz (only five more weeks now!) will be head treasurer and the little mini-stumps will be queens and first lieutenants as soon as patrick gets his shit together and actually creates them. (marriage contracts will be signed by the cradle. call me a traditional dad)

“This Would Be a Blues, Except It Fell Into a Wineglass”
(album: From Over the Rainbow, Decaydance/FBR, 2011)
Love,
Let the wax melt off your wings;
Lick it from a marble arch,
Under purple moonlight.
The audience is closing in,
Hailing kings of second chances
And muses of oblivion
In a slowly sinking ship.
Memories,
Stolen and buried in Orpheus’s haze;
An ever-changing misty maze
Of too good intentions
Putting forth a pageantry
Our longing showcased
In raspberry and midnight
At the centre of the stage
Purple moonlight, glitter stars
Spin your desires in a sea of heartbeats
Wrap fingers in silk and cover your lips in satin dreams
Wo-oh-oh
Purple moonlight, glitter stars
Spin your desires in a sea of heartbeats
Wrap fingers in silk and cover your lips in satin dreams
Wo-oh-oh
Love,
Is thy patience at an end?
Knock with lips and tongues
On a backstage door.
Did I slam it in my face
The last time I left you?
(Does it count as leaving
If you never knew I came by?)
Purple moonlight, glitter stars
Spin your desires in a sea of heartbeats
Wrap fingers in silk and cover your lips in satin dreams
Wo-oh-oh
Spin a fantasy and watch it break
Step out from the looking glass
I’m mad as a hatter but your fading smile
Is still hanging in my bedroom
Purple moonlight, glitter stars
Spin your desires in a sea of heartbeats
Wrap fingers in silk and cover your lips in satin dreams
Wo-oh-oh
Purple moonlight, glitter stars
Spin your desires in a sea of heartbeats
Wrap fingers in silk and cover your lips in satin dreams
Wo-oh-oh

REKINDLING ROMANCE AT THE DISCO?
Singer Brendon Urie and guitarist Ryan Ross of highly popular rock band Panic at the Disco (last album was released only a month ago and has already sold past gold) are rumoured to be up to old tricks. Though never officially confirmed, the intra-band romance is wildly known among the fans to have gone on for almost five years, up until Ross’s wedding with modern dancer Keltie Colleen in June of last year. Ross and Urie were spotted alone together several times this week, walking down the beach in Malibou and sipping coffee in intimate cafés, heads held close together. Meanwhile, Mrs Ross was seen with fellow dancer and colleague David Johnson at the opening of Désir volant—guest appearance by French choreographer André Préjocaj—on the Las Vegas dance scene, proudly displaying her growing stomach to the red carpet cameras. “We’re really excited,” Keltie Ross told E! reporter Amanda Carston. “Ryan and I both want a really big family. We’re in a very happy place right now.” Baby-bliss or divorce? Keep checking in and we’ll keep you updated…

Date: 2009-01-22 12:35 pm (UTC)i hate how you add this romance at the disco article at the end here, it makes a voice in my head whisper 'rydon' on repeat ;P
well actually... i'm running out of words... i came here through different ways and each of them was wow on its very special own.

and this leads me to think about all the what if's in the whole freaking world so i'm gonna stop right here. lol
